Rock for Restoration

In late August, 2005, one of the deadliest hurricanes to ever hit the U.S. made a direct hit on the Gulf Coast shorelines of Louisiana and Mississippi.  Over 1,000 people lost their lives and hundreds of thousands of homes and buildings were destroyed.  The government estimated between $75-100 billion of damage occurred as a result of the disaster.  The saddest part is that almost three years later many of the people whose lives were interrupted are still displaced.

But we believe in a God that has the power to restore His creation back to what He intended to be and we feel called to be part of the restoration process!

Help support us in our mission to bring hope and love back to an area of the country that so desperately needs it.  Saturday night, June 14 we are hosting a dinner and worship experience in order to raise money and awareness for our trip.

Check back soon for a detailed menu of the food to be served during the dinner portion of the night, which starts at 6PM.

The entertainment will consist of some rockin covers of popular contemporary Christian artists such as David Crowder Band, Switchfoot and Third Day, as well as more traditional worship music.  Interspersed throughout the night will be testamonies by students who participated on the trip last year along with pictures of the work we accomplished in our previous trip.

We are only asking for a $7 donation at the door, but please consider how else you might be able to support us through the night by participating in some of the auctions we are running, or simply choosing to donate more than our asking price.
